Douglas
M. Thompson, CFA, has been involved with the founding of multiple
companies and guided the investment strategy for those entities
throughout his career. Mr. Thompson has been actively involved in the
real estate industry as both a principal investor and consultant for
more than twenty-four years. Mr. Thompson has utilized his expertise of
capital markets, mortgage banking/brokerage, real estate development and
property/loan analysis to make educated investment decisions. Mr.
Thompson has acted as a real estate consultant to a number of private
and institutional investors providing investment analysis including the
underwriting, structuring and acquisition of performing and
non-performing debt portfolios, land for development, and income
producing properties and portfolios. As a principal real estate
investor, Mr. Thompson led teams of professionals in the capitalization,
acquisition and development of multiple residential and commercial
parcels throughout the US.
Mr. Thompson received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Stanford University in 1985 and the Chartered Financial Analysts (CFA) designation in 2001. As a CFA, Mr. Thompson has chosen to pursue an investment career guided by a higher level of integrity and committed to adhere to the CFA Institute's strict Code of Ethics and Standards of Professional Conduct.
